November Eat from the Pantry Challenge- Week 3
We have joined Coping with Frugality in the November Eat from the Pantry Challenge. Have you joined us too?
We inadvertently kept our shopping to a minimum the first week of November, so I joined in the Eat from the Pantry Challenge. You can see below my SPENDING progress for week 3! You can also see how Coping with Frugality did in Week 3 here.
Just because those are all blank doesn’t mean I didn’t spend ANY money this week! What it means is that we did absolutely no grocery shopping this week. I did hit CVS and Walgreen’s and picked up some toiletries and Triaminic Fever Reducer for the kids (I had Register Rewards to use!) but I didn’t buy more than a couple of candy bars as filler items.
We did happen to eat out a couple of times last week. It is a perk of not having the kids around to have to feed. It seems like we’ve spent a lot of time doing what we want to do (well, I’ve been doing homework and Brian has been spending time doing what he wants to do). So we haven’t had a lot going on.
If you are interested in seeing or hearing more about my shopping trips, let me know and I’ll start a weekly update of my receipts!
