Fundraiser: Pizza Time

Fundraiser for T’s private school: Pizza night at a local pizzeria. 20% goes to the school.

I saw the banner at school drop off, and wondered if I had missed it the previous day. But I got an email later in the day from the Mrs. W, T’s afternoon teacher, about the Pizza fundraiser. Go to the pizzeria, mention the school and 20% of our order goes straight back to the school.

How awesome is that?! I definitely need to advertise this deal with my friends in the area. Unfortunately, we know 2 families in the same town as T’s private school. Not awesome.

When Brian called on his way to pick up T, he asked what was for supper. What did I tell him? Pizza from the pizzeria, ‘and when you order make sure you mention the school!’

Something else I need to add- after spending $25 for the equivalent of 2 medium Pizza Hut pizza’s: I think we will ONLY eat there on school fundraiser nights. Not terrible pizza but I expected more for the price. I think we’ll stick to Casey’s pizza when we’re hungry!

Good thing- $5 when to T’s school. I guess it wasn’t an entirely bad thing.

I like these kind of fundraisers. We had one at a Chuck E Cheese once, it was lots of fun.

I don’t mind these types of Fundraisers- except when I think the food is overpriced, and not so tasty. Hubby said he’d rather buy pizza at Casey’s and donate the difference to the school. :-)
